Greenacre Recruitment are working with a social housing provider in the Hertfordshire to source an Asset Management Officer on a full-time, permanent basis. Job Purpose The post holder will be responsible for assisting with asset management activities within the Investment team. The post holder will play a key role in maintaining and developing the Asset Management database. Produce and maintain programmes of work to deliver the objectives of the Asset Management Strategy. Key Taks & Duties (Some of...) To assist with the planning, programming and monitoring all planned, cyclical and improvement programmes for the housing stock. Responsible for the analysis and reporting of complex performance information relating to Asset Management including but not limited to Decent Homes, Satisfaction and completed capital works. Provide the Delivery team with the programming and stock data management for the delivery of programmed works from inception to completion. To programme and manage ongoing stock condition surveys to inform the programme planning process. To maintain and develop the Asset Management database including compliance with changes to legislation and guidance, providing training and procedures. To analyse and interpret complex information relating to the stock from various sources to make decisions regarding investment plans and programmes. Required Competencies A good understanding of issues affecting local government including knowledge of government policy and initiatives affecting asset management. Evidence of scenario planning in relation to programmes of work within budget, scope, priority and restraints to achieve long term and short term objectives. Advanced ITC skills including management of databases, reporting, and use of bespoke models and tools. Housing related qualification e.g. CIH Construction related qualification such as HND Experience of performance indicators and KPI s Excellent attention to detail and competent analysis skills Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing Extensive experience with asset management software and database management, including data cleansing and bespoke asset data report design and generation. Extensive experience in design of stock condition surveys for various types of property using asset management software and mobile data capture. Experience of accessing viability and options to inform investment decisions in the housing stock. Experience in building surveying and stock condition surveys. Ability and willingness to travel to other locations as required for the role. Able to attend meeting in evening and weekends. Able to represent the organisation at external events including focus groups, user groups and best practice events
