a.i. solutions is seeking an Cloud Data Engineer. This position will support the Sentinel Program, which is an enormous and complex "Mega-Project" modernizing the entire Intercontinental Ballistic Missile weapon system deployed across tens of thousands of square miles in five states. It includes a complete refurbishment of hundreds of aging Minuteman III ICBM facilities to secure and support a newly designed, technologically advanced ballistic missile. It will also provide an entirely new command and control system as well as vast array of required support equipment specifically engineered to operate and sustain the new weapon system over the decades ahead. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to embrace the a.i. solutions mission and work to continually exceed the expectations of our customers.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain a data pipeline using modern ETL tools
  • Gathering requirements and analyzing them to produce optimum technical design solutions
  • Engaging in the full software development lifecycle, undertake the development of Data Integration components using ETL/ELT in accordance with the relevant processes and quality requirements to deliver integration solutions
  • Continuing to develop, support and maintain the enterprise Data Warehouse in line with the business requirements and best practice

Minimum Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in software engineering, computer science, or information technologies.
  • 7-10+ years of experience (5+ with Master s degree)
  • Experience building data pipelines with ETL tools, such as Talend, Alteryx, or SSIS
  • Coding experience with SQL, C# or Powershell, or Python

  • Self-motivated and works well under minimal supervision
  • Communication skills (written or verbal), including the ability to help others understand tools,technologies, and processes used to solve a problem
  • Proactivity in identifying and addressing challenges to include innovations that result in positive organizational impact
