Cloud Engineer - Remote

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall public cloud day-to-day operations including asset inventory, configuration management, security controls, systems health, op cost management and optimization

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Analyze current business and technology practices, user needs, and workflow processes for improvement

Work with MSP on supporting the Global IT

Represent the team as a participating member of designated committees

Serve as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with Cloud infrastructure systems

Participate in 24x7 on call rotation and be available for after-hours support as needed

Participate the enterprise disaster recovery exercises.

Perform other work as assigned.

Certifications Required:

Industry certifications preferred but not required: MCAAA, MCAF, MCASEA, OCI-DP, OCI-SCP, ACA, ACP, ACE, AWS SAA, AWS SAP and ITIL

Education Requirements:

BS or BA degree in business or computer science with an emphasis in information technology. Graduate degree in business or a related field is preferred.

Skill Preferences:

3 years of Cloud Engineering work experience with extensive knowledge and familiarity with various public cloud such as Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, Alibaba Cloud, GCP with Virtualization, Storage, Networking and Security

Experience with Networking Technologies such as Palo Alto Prisma Access, Prisma SDWAN, Load Balancing, Content Delivery Network (CDN)

Experience with primarily Azure, OCI, Alibaba Cloud with Deployment, Administration, Maintenance and Security, Custom Linux and Windows Image creations with CIS benchmarks, Azure Virtual Desktops and systems administration

Experience with Automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform etc.

Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL utilizing ServiceNow

Understanding/Knowledge of global security frameworks and standards like CGMP, HIPAA, CIS, NIST, FIPS

Experience in Cloud Infrastructure design and architectures for large Healthcare Manufacturing Enterprise
