Data Developer (SQL, SSIS, SSRS). We need a contract Data Developer (SQL, SSIS, SSRS) to deliver solutions and enhancements for both projects and change requests. You will improve efficiencies, lower costs, right first time and make solutions more robust and easier to support. You will also provide group wide management information and reporting solutions that will support and inform the organisation in meeting its strategic goals. Title: Data Developer. (SQL, SSIS, SSRS). Location: Remote. West Midlands. Contractor will need to be UK Based. Duration: 6 months. Rate: Market rate subject to experience IN Scope of IR35. Start Date: ASAP. DUTIES: Deliver on SQL driven ActiveH workflows. Deliver data integrations between client and third-party organisations, including stock transfer with other organisations. Deliver SQL reporting solutions. Deliver implementation and testing of new software and upgrades. Undertake the role of 3rd line support on problems and queries. Promote adoption of new technologies to simplify processes and solutions. Creation of system generated reports/dashboards. Utilising and promoting the use of Azure technologies within business solutions, such as SQL VM's, Azure SQL databases, Key Vaults, Data Factory, Synapse; working with Microsoft DevOps work items to deliver functionality. Essential Skills. Subject matter expert in SQL Server technologies (SQL, SSIS, SSRS) and in development practices including: Azure Devops, source control (TVFS, GiT), automated unit testing and deployment pipelines. Experience of Microsoft operating system and applications. High level of Report Writing tools and practices Database technologies Database Architecture and Design. High level of Reporting Development Tools and software development lifecycle practices utilising a devops CI/CD approach. Good written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting directly with end users for both projects and day to day work, able to prioritise multiple tasks effectively and successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously using own initiative. Desirable Skills. Any of the following a plus. Azure Data Lake, Data Factory and Synapse Technology. Power BI. Housing sector software (ActiveH) creating ActiveH workflows. Experience of Automated Deployment. Agile Project Delivery. ITIL.
