Supervises Dining Services staff and follows departmental policies and procedures in order to provide quality food service to residents, staff and quests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Directs Dining Services Aides in preparation, service and clean-up of meal service to ensure all standards are met.
Plans and conducts in-services, trains and orients Dining Services Aides in their duties, responsibilities and the procedures used in the area to ensure employees are following all standards and requirements.
Conducts daily Quality Assurance surveys to guarantee delivery of meals comparable with set standards.
Schedules dining services personnel according to Network policies and procedures to provide adequate, cost effective staff coverage.
Supervises and participates in an aggressive sanitation program to maintain the work environment at a level that meets or exceeds criteria for cleanliness set by appropriate regulatory agencies.
Completes all forms and reports as assigned according to departmental policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Dining Services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing concerns and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum of 2 years of Dining Services experience. Long-term care experience preferred.

Location: Longwood at Oakmont Campus Dining Services
Schedule: Full Time, Varied Shifts, 6am-2:30pm and/or 11:30am - 8:00am
