cxLoyalty is seeking a motivated and engaged Director of UX Product Design. We are looking for an experienced UX design leader who leads with passion, clarity and energy. In this role, y ou will lead a team of UX designers dedicated to creating effective and delightful product experiences that unify customer needs with business goals.

For this position, we are looking for someone who is highly motivated, passionate about human-centered design, and has a proven track record for leading user experience with cross-functional teams. We appreciate design leaders who are builders, curious, humble, think deeply, speak clearly and thrive on collaboration and feedback.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
  • Staffing, supporting, and leading a growing team of designers, providing guidance, coaching and mentorship in their work and development
  • Ensuring delivery of high-quality design for users across multiple products and platforms
  • Ensuring user research is incorporated into the right efforts at the right time
  • Closely collaborating on broader team strategy with peer UX leaders
  • Effectively partnering with product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure programs receive appropriate UX support
  • Evolving product design process to ensure we deliver the best outcomes for customers with scalability and efficiency
  • Defining and communicating short and long-term design strategies
What you will bring
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting, hiring, and retaining designers with diverse backgrounds and levels of expertise
  • Ability to structure and adapt design teams to best fit the needs of the business, ensuring optimal outcomes
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in partnering with product and engineering leadership on design strategy and approach
  • Natural ability to navigate through ambiguity
  • Solid instincts about when to hold the line on methodological rigor and when to adapt to the changing demands of a project
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with multiple tasks, projects and manage a team to do the same
  • Experience as a product builder who has worked closely with engineering and has strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to professionally lead a team through challenges while also celebrating the wins.
  • Expert knowledge of user research, UX and product design methods and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Experience
  • Human-centered UX design leader with 3+ years of experience leading product designers within a consumer facing, product development organization
  • Hands-on leader with 3+ years of experience designing digital products as an individual contributor
  • Experience designing for WCAG AA compliance
  • Experience working closely with designers to help them set and achieve career goals
