UK Finance Controller Cheshire Hybrid working (UK Travel required) We are recruiting for an experiencered Finance Controller to join a highly successful client of ours, you will be responsible for driving, measuring and communicating the financial performance of the local Trading organisations, ensuring adherence and implementation of business-relevant processes. The successful candidate will be supporting the Sales/HR and the General Manager acting as Finance Business Partner for the UK side of the business as well as supporting on a range of commercial projects. Pricing Strategy o Understand customer s strategy and local market developments o Identify/report risks and opportunities in local markets Price Negotiations o Involved in offers/tenders and negotiation process o Support price setting and produce Customer Approval Form calculations / o Provide input and financial calculations in preparation for customer negotiation Budget / Forecast o Analyses actual/expected volume, price & customer profitability development in home market Reporting o Ensure correct level of rebates are accrued in LRD and Principal o Liaise with sales regarding any potential claims and ensure accruals made where necessary o Report actual financial performance of LRD to local management o Aim is to maximize customer value o Develop knowledge of financial instruments/indicators and ensure EVA thinking within the organisation Processes o Drive continuous improvements (process/projects/tools), cost savings, KPI s and support standardisation/harmonization o Support local and central projects o Approve LRD purchase requisitions and invoices Key Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration with focus on Finance /Controlling Strong Financial experience in an international business, preferably manufacturing environment Good Financial understanding of business processes and business demands, analytical skills and creativity Experience with: sales process, controlling, strategic thinking, planning, business case management, scenario planning, and financial evaluation of investment decision Commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiations Reporting Tools (Essbase & HFM), SAP, SAP BW, Office applications Project management and leadership skills
