Our ethos is Safety, Service, People this is known as the EJ way and is practised throughout the group Due to the increase in our offering onsite at one of our premium clients, we are currently looking to expand our Health & Safety team and are looking for an experienced Health and Safety professional to be our Health and Safety Lead on site in Kettering (NN15) Key Responsibilities Working within an industrial food manufacturing site, the H&S Lead will be responsible for ensuring the site based team are following business processes and implementing new methods to enhance Musk s H&S reputation whilst supporting the Musk SHEQ manager and the sites H&S representatives at all levels. Provide H&S support and advice to the operational team in line with relevant legal requirements and best practice Demonstrate a positive safety culture, leading by example Carry out H&S inspections and monitor trending of interventions alongside our onsite H&S Co-Ordinator Lead incident and accident investigations. Ensure corrective & preventative actions are carried out and followed through Support the management team in finding resolutions to any SHEQ non-conformances and ensure corrective & preventative actions are carried out and followed through Manage the annual level 3 Audit, supported by management team Liaise with Musk Account Manager, Ops Managers and client H&S team to enhance site team performance and be influential in driving improvements and audit scores Support H&S Co-Ordinator with monthly TBT content and delivery Provide site specific monthly SHEQ reports, relatable to client KPI and Musk objectives. Identify improvements and implement strategies accordingly Ownership of the induction process for new site employees Provide H&S representation during ad-hock drug and alcohol testing Attend H&S meetings Have oversight of the Sevron COSHH system. Provide regular feedback on SHEQ matters to Musk Account Manager and SHEQ Manager. Provide support to our onsite H&S Co-ordinator We value everyone s skills and experiences but for this role are looking for people who: Are qualified to at least NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH managing safely, Environment Awareness training Experience of operating within a FMCG / Food Production Environment desirable Good understanding and awareness of ISO9001, ISO14011 and ISO45001 Experience in conducting/participating in audits Excellent clear communication skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work Good knowledge of COSHH Trustworthy and discreet with confidential data.
