Completes all the responsibilities and duties related to the operation and performance of exercise stress testing, pulmonary stress testing, respiratory analysis, Holter monitor, ambulatory blood pressure, cardiac event monitor, pacemaker evaluations, SAECG, and ECG's.

Calculates and records test results; prepares preliminary interpretation and/or review of the examination to provide input in the evaluation of the data and to contribute relevant technical information.

Maintains detailed and accurate records of collected data including final calculations and diagnostic impressions.

Recognizes and carts patients' arrhythmias, recognizes life-threatening or unusual heart rhythms and reports them immediately to the physician.

Obtains pertinent clinical information from the patient, referring physician or patient's record in order to obtain comprehensive and diagnostic information.

Performs general maintenance and quick control checks on all lab equipment. Uses computerized self diagnostic programs to identify and locate nature of faults in the equipment.

Maintains all laboratory supplies through periodic inventory; processes supply requisitions as needed.

Explains non-invasive diagnostic procedures to the patient.

Prepares appropriate billing for each patient (CPT/ICD-9).

Receives telephone calls, patient and s and visitors skillfully and handles with efficiency.

Maintains standards for patient safety and infection control for the Non-Invasive Cardiology Labs.

Attends Non-Invasive Cardiology Conferences.

Exemplifies Guest and Staff Relations standards in all activities.
