QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

The candidate will work remotely till ban lifts then move to MI to work on site.
Title : QA Automation Engineer
Location : Grand Rapids MI
Duration: Long Term
Type : Contract

Responsibilities:
• Participate in driving the quality of the product, from user story through release
• Create full test coverage (test cases, test data) for applications under the test
• Drive and deliver all testing cycles
• Manual and automated test case creation and execution
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies
• Clearly communicate steps to reproduce bugs and validate after fix
• Work well independently as well as part of a team

Required skills/background (ranked):
• 3+ years of relevant QA experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with QA methodologies & test cycles
• Highly experienced and fluent (scripting and executing) automation testing of API testing using Postman
• Experience load testing Azure API's using jmeter or similar
• POS/ Retail experience
• Experience with MS VSTS as a Kanban board and to write, document and execute test cases
• Strong Team player, good communicator, and collaborator
• Should have experience with version control, code branching, code review and code merge
