Sales Administrator North Leicester c.£21,000 p.a. Do you come from an administrative background and have a desire to excel within a sales environment? Are you a proactive individual who can demonstrate their time keeping, organisation and customer service abilities but has the confidence to ask questions when in need of clarity? Do you have proven competency using IT packages including Microsoft Word and Excel? The Company: Our client is currently in a period of growth due to success as a respected market leader and innovator. They are centred around their consumer goods operation providing reputable customer service. They are looking for a Sales Administrator to join their ambitious and target driven sales team based in Leicester. This individual will be responsible for all vital administrative support across the business and assist the team to meet company-wide targets. Role & Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator: Accurately process customers' orders received via email, fax, telephone and customers websites Process customer card payments and generate invoices, keeping a precise record for new and existing customers Investigate and action customer credit requests Send out product samples and/or images to customers upon request Liaise with transport companies to book customer collections, keep a track of deliveries in transit Prioritise workload to meet customer expectations and ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner Integrate with all necessary internal departments and customers to communicate key information Monitor the sales inbox and answer any customer queries Send out of stock notifications to customers when appropriate Maintain accurate records and file paperwork Share switchboard duties, direct calls within the business and take messages if required Offer administrative support to the National Account Manager and Export Team, and carry out any ad hoc duties About You as the Sales Administrator: Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with others Excellent telephone etiquette Able to deliver excellent customer service both externally and internally Good understanding of product Accurate reporting Someone who is focused and pays attention to detail A can-do attitude Good time management An organised individual Proficient in using computer packages including Microsoft Word and Excel Additional Benefits: Monday to Friday role, 9am-5pm Onsite parking Christmas Closure (annual leave held back for this) 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Please note by applying for this role you give consent for ER Recruitment to retain your CV for up to 24 months for the purposes of assisting you to find your next role unless you notify us otherwise.
