SEMH Learning Support AssistantQualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking to take on a SEMH Learning Support Assistant. For this role you will be required to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs day to day during their time at school. This will include during lessons, around the school and at break times. All the students you will be supporting will have some form of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, due to their needs they will be working at a slightly lower level than their age groups and will also show quite challenging behaviour. Therefore, the ideal SEMH Learning Support Assistant role this role, ideally has a degree or a qualification related to youth work and be able to build a strong rapport and work as a team.SEMH SchoolThis all boys SEMH School is located in the South London borough of Wandsworth and caters for students aged between 5-18 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. They currently have 170 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2017, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.
