If you are an experienced Solutions Architect who is passionate about new technologies, problem-solving and providing excellent customer service, you belong at Bromford. As the Solutions Architect, working within our Change Delivery Team, you will be performing continuous research on emerging technologies staying updated with the best alternatives and options to improve our existing Architecture. Your role, is to evaluate business requirements and design end to end solutions in the form of products or services, considering cost, quality, complexity, and useability. You will, balance the use of existing solutions with the introduction of new and emerging technologies. As a SME you will provide architectural leadership and end to end solution designs for Bromford. We expect you to be at the forefront of new cloud technologies and technical practices as well as on premise, providing us with direction on what emerging IT technologies and methods we should introduce. You ll understand business requirements, make recommendations and understand the full eco system of applications here at Bromford. You will providing insightful, quality advice and innovative solutions to support the organisation. Ultimately, your work will ensure we are on the front foot when it comes to systems and technology. This is a roaming/hybrid working style with an expectation of 2/3 office days per week (we have offices based in Wolverhampton, Tewkesbury, Chipping Sodbury & Lichfield) We want you to be somebody who has: Bachelor in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems(MIS) or related discipline or equivalent work experience. Significant previous experience working as a Solution Architect External speaking / community engagement regarding solution architecture would be advantageous. Proven track record of continual learning and research. Mastery of generally accepted Solution Architecture standards, methods, documentation and notation. Deep understanding of either Azure or AWS solutions, in the context of providing Customer/Business solutions. Ideally has exposure to the D365 suite of products from Microsoft. Ideally has exposure to Microsoft Power Platform. Strong understanding of integration technologies (APIs, Microservices, Logic apps etc) Ability to organise own workload and communicate ideas effectively Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver the highest quality solutions to colleagues. Self-Starter motivation with ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities. Ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences. Solves complex problems with creative solutions. Personable, approachable, and confident attitude to supporting end users.A place to be you!
