Description:Would you like to be a part of a diverse and growing team which contributes to the development of a system which is critical to our National Defense? At the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) is a very fast paced and dynamic environment looking for a Systems Engineer.

The selectee will support System test activities of the C2BMC NT System Engineering functional area. This position will work with a multi-contractor team in the development and execution of a comprehensive system test program supporting acquisition and acceptance of the C2BMC Element of the BMDS.

This role will plan, schedule, and execute tasks associated with specific System test events as assigned. Additionally, the role will prepare work products associated with test events, preparing briefings, and obtain C2BMC NT and MDA approval of products. The candidate will collaborate with the System Test Product Owner and work directly with the Task Order Program Manager and Systems Engineering lead.

Position is based in Colorado Springs at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) at Schriever Space Force Base, but travel to contractor sites (e.g. Huntsville, HWY83) may be required. Position will be 50% or more on site.

Basic Qualifications:
Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE to be considered for this position

- Bachelor's Degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Software Engineering with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a Master's Degree.

- Experience with DoD cybersecurity test methodologies and terminologies.

- Experience planning and executing cyber test activities with external agencies required.

- Experience participating in system test events.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work effectively and cooperatively with people within and external to the program.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with performing sprint tasks in an Agile execution structure

- Background in Systems Engineering, Network Design and/or Software Development

- Experience with operational MDA systems (e.g., C2BMC, GMD, Aegis, THAAD, Patriot, SBIRS, ADSI), message standards and formats (e.g., Link-16, TADIL-J, MIL-STD 6016, MIL-STD 6020, MIL-STD 3011, VMF), and/or off-the-shelf engineering tools packages (e.g., MATLAB, DOORS, ClearQuest)

- Experience with various M&S-driven test environments, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), and Flight Test (FT).

- Experience with developing test objectives, developing test architectures, supporting test case and scenario design, defining configurable parameters for test, and reviewing open paper to identify and mitigate risks with respect to test events

- Ability to prepare and present system test products and clearly communicate these concepts across a broad spectrum of audiences, including high level Missile Defense Agency (MDA), DoD and C2BMC National Team (C2BMC NT) staffs
