UX Designer Remote (client locations London, Edinburgh) Our clients are digital innovators. They support our clients, like the NHS, in their digital transformation journey to offer secure and trusted digital services. They build a health and care system that is integrated, secure and built around individuals and their needs. In addition to this, we also provide world-leading digital support services. They are looking for a versatile UX designer to join as a foundational member of a new product team developing a new platform and suite of applications for the social care market in the UK. UX Designer The UX designer has a passion for usability, an eye for visual consistency and a knack for reducing the complex ideas and processes to their bare essentials maximising utility, usability, appeal and engagement. A focus on human user-centred design as well as demonstrable knowledge of information architecture, accessibility and interaction design. Responsibilities of the role include: 1. Helping facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements and communicate project progress. 2. Interpreting research to create and maintain accurate user experience deliverables including site maps, realistic personas and user journeys appropriate to a project. 3. Providing any UX deliverables as well as any functional specifications when needed. 4. Planning and conducting user and usability testing. 5. Sketching ideas, creating wireframes and developing mock-ups of responsive interfaces to support the design process. 6. Understanding branding and brand identities as well as how they can influence the user experience. 7. Maintaining an understanding of user-centred design principles up to date with UX best practice. A portion of this role is as a digital consultant with responsibilities as follows: 8. Influencing product roadmaps based on customer feedback, developments in the marketplace, trends and associated technologies 9. Providing internal consultancy and advice to colleagues. 10. Providing training and consultancy to clients to help them engage with and provide content to their audience. The following responsibilities apply to both roles: 11. Complying with information governance requirements 12. Acting as deputy for manager from time to time, when line manager not available 13. Completing and submit accurate time reports as required
